由動詞 go引導的短語課文中還有：go to school（上學）， go to bed（上床睡覺）。請注意 work, school以及 bed之前不帶任何冠詞。
2．stay at home, 呆在家里。
與 stay home在意思上相差無幾。前者中的 home是名詞，后者中的home是副詞。
3．do the housework, 料理家務。
housework是不鄭昌可數名詞。請比較：do the homework（做作業）。
4．at night, 在夜里。
如果說某日夜里，則喊余扒用介詞 on:on the night of June 2 在6月2日的夜里
語法Grammar in use

一般現在時用于表示一個習慣動作、有規律的行為以及永恒的現象。一般與時間頻度副詞和時間短語連用。這些時間短語有：
every day/week/month/year 每日／周／月／年
in the morning/afternoon/evening 在上午／下午／晚上
at noon/night 在正午／夜里
第3人稱單數的謂語動詞需加以變化，這可分為幾種情況：
（1）一般情況在動詞后面直接加 -s，如：want----wants come----comes arrive----arrives
（2）以-s, -x, -ch, -sh, -o結尾的動詞加 -es，如：fix----fixes wash----washes go----goeswatch----watchesdo----does
（3）以輔音加 -y結尾的動詞，把 -y改成 -i，再加 -es；而元音加 -y結尾的動詞，只加 -s即可：
